In February our company went through an annual IFS audit, which proves compliance with International food safety standards. We passed the certification process successfully and gained IFS Food certification of higher level.
The IFS is an international standard for quality management systems. Certification audits are performed by independent certification bodies and in case all requirements of the standard are met, the company gains IFS Certificate. The IFS Food standard arose from requirements of German and French retail chains as a general standard for food safety in retail chains.
